This Privacy Policy explains how Hailey collects, uses, and protects information when you use our AI customer service platform, our website, or interact with a business that uses Hailey to answer calls, chats, or texts on their behalf.

We collect information in a few different ways:

• Business account information: contact details, business information, scripts, and configuration you provide when setting up Hailey.
• Caller and customer data: call recordings and transcripts, chat conversations, and contact details collected on behalf of the businesses we serve, in order to deliver the Service.
• Website usage data: standard analytics data collected via Vercel Analytics and Microsoft Clarity when you visit usehailey.com.

We use this information to operate and improve the Service, answer and route calls and chats accurately, generate call summaries and transcripts for the businesses we serve, provide customer support, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information. We share information with infrastructure and subprocessors that help us operate the Service (such as telephony, hosting, and AI model providers), bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations, and as required by law.

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is role-restricted to authorized personnel. For healthcare businesses using Hailey, we sign a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) and apply HIPAA-appropriate safeguards to protected health information handled on their behalf.

We retain call recordings, transcripts, and chat history for as long as needed to provide the Service to the business you contacted, or as otherwise required by that business's configuration, contract, or applicable law.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. If you contacted a business that uses Hailey, requests are generally directed to that business, who can also route the request to us.

usehailey.com uses privacy-conscious analytics (Vercel Analytics) and session analytics (Microsoft Clarity) to understand site usage. These do not sell your data to third parties.

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above.
